About Twin Oaks
The nuanced role of oak in a winery took on new meaning when the Twin Oaks range was introduced to the Smidge Wines portfolio. What once was a simple and now cherished childhood memory of the 'twin' oak trees planted at the entrance of the St Brioc farm drive, seeds from those same trees, gathered up long ago, grow as the majestic trees that welcome you at the entrance of Smidge Wines today. Planting these seeds and watching the twin oak trees grow today represents our commitment to sustainability and preserving the land for future generations. It is also a gesture of reverence to our family, to place, and tradition.

"It's immediately appealing on the nose showing black/blueberry, floral, hazelnut and subtle spice notes, followed by a wonderfully flavoursome palate that's generous and delectable. Fleshy, smooth and persistent with excellent fruit weight and splendid complexity. At its best: now to 2030 - 94 Points

I picked this as on an impulse. It fruit forward with a fine
and firm finish. I think allowing it to breath adds to the wine, allows he
flavours to mingle and express. Enjoyed with a rare rump steak but it would
also go nicely with cheese. Overall a wine I will buy again.
I would recommend to a friend
